Services

Adina Care offers a fantastic lifestyle for its residents, with all programs and services focused on the needs and choices of each individual.

We have several lifestyle programs in place to ensure residents make the most of their time living at our home. We believe that social interaction and involvement with others, both within and outside the home is vital to residents’ wellbeing. For this reason, there are organised activities each day that include art, bingo, cards, and special performances from outside groups.

Outdoor activities are organised regularly to make the most of pleasant weather with trips to the local shops, hairdressing salon and other points of interest. Church services for all denominations are conducted frequently, and residents are welcome to attend any service they wish.

Adina Care is proud of its dining and meal service with all meals cooked and prepared onsite by our own team of catering staff. This allows us to tailor meals according to the specific needs of our residents, including special dietary requirements or preferences.

Our menus are reviewed regularly and residents provide consistent feedback on their preferences via the monthly resident meetings. Wherever possible, produce is sourced locally or from local suppliers to ensure the highest quality, fresh ingredients and support of our local farming community.

Adina Cares boasts a varied and changing lifestyle activity program for residents throughout our facility. Programs include:

  • Concerts and entertainers
  • BBQs and social gatherings
  • Church services
  • Bus trips and community outings
  • Visits from local school children

COVID-19 – it should be noted that Adina Care is currently operating its lifestyle services and programs with restrictions due to the threat of the Coronavirus.


“It is always a difficult decision to move one’s beloved mother into care. I was so very sad when three months ago, the time came for my 100 year old mother to leave our home and move into Adina Care. However this has been one of the best decisions that both Mum and our family have made. I can now become once again enjoy being a daughter, not a carer and that is lovely.

I will never forget the day when Mum first arrived into Adina Care and a staff member said to me ‘We are a team, because you know your mother better than anyone’. That immediately put me at ease, knowing that I would be listened to and my input would be valued.

The care and kindness all the staff show to both Mum and myself is wonderful. All the staff, including the cleaners, laundry, handyman, kitchen and nursing staff are so very kind and professional to my mother.

“I have been so impressed by Adina Care. I can honestly say Adina Care breaks the norm, the facility always has a lovely environment and tries to make its residents feel at home. I have celebrated Christmas’s and birthdays with mum at the nursing home as these days she is not able to travel.

We celebrated her 80th birthday and due to COVID we were not able to have a celebration with everyone attending. Adina managed to have a small gathering of residents to help her celebrate. Many don’t know but my mum in her past working life was a nurse and manager of a frail aged home at Yass, NSW.

Mum has said to me on many occasions that the nursing home and staff at Adina are great and she would have been glad to have any of the staff working for her.

“Adina Care has been wonderful for our parents in their senior years.

Those who can live independently can reside in very comfortable spacious semi-detached units knowing that the services and support of the Adina Care Nursing Home are always available should they be needed.

Those needing full-time care in the Nursing Home are looked after with sensitivity, compassion and professionalism. The staff provide care on a needs basis only allowing residents to care for themselves to the maximum extent.

Family members are welcome to visit, to spend time with residents and take them out, depending on their personal health needs. The staff are friendly, well organised and caring, arranging regular activities for the residents.
