Adina Care is dedicated to providing exceptional residential aged care to members of the Cootamundra community and surrounding regions. We are proud to share testimonials from our families and residents.

On behalf of my family we would like to sincerely thank all of the staff at Adina Care Cootamundra during the tough times they have endured over the past two years. Your compassion, patience, strength & work ethic is evident & it takes very special people to give so much to our precious family members. We know you all have worked extra shifts, long hours & had to diversify in your roles, especially during lockdown, to help each other out to guarantee our father & other residents are given the best quality of care you can give. From the bottom of our hearts we can’t thank you all enough.

Mum was a resident of Adina Care for more than 9 years after dad died. The staff treated her with loving care and respect during her stay. On numerous occasions she told me that she liked living at Adina Care and that she loved the people that worked there. There is no greater reassurance for a family member of a nursing home resident than to hear these words. I always had peace of mind knowing that she was in good hands. The staff also became like family to me over the years; they were communicative, loving and supportive through to the end. Thank you for everything you did for mum and for our family!

It is with heartfelt thanks that we extend our gratitude to all the staff at Adina Care who lovingly cared, nursed and supported our family member in so many different ways during the four years they lived there and in particular to the majority of those who showed care and compassion during the last difficult days when we witnessed some of the absolute best of kindness and care. We thank those staff who during the difficult COVID pandemic went above and beyond their overworked duty showing compassion, thoughtfulness and concern not only to our family member but to our extended family. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

I have been so impressed by Adina Care. I can honestly say Adina Care breaks the norm, the facility always has a lovely environment and tries to make its residents feel at home. I have celebrated Christmas’s and birthdays with mum at the nursing home as these days she is not able to travel.

We celebrated her 80th birthday and due to COVID we were not able to have a celebration with everyone attending. Adina managed to have a small gathering of residents to help her celebrate. Many don’t know but my mum in her past working life was a nurse and manager of a frail aged home at Yass, NSW.

Mum has said to me on many occasions that the nursing home and staff at Adina are great and she would have been glad to have any of the staff working for her.

Thank you, Adina Care, for taking the time to make the little differences that make my mum feel at home.

It is always a difficult decision to move one’s beloved mother into care. I was so very sad when three months ago, the time came for my 100 year old mother to leave our home and move into Adina Care. However this has been one of the best decisions that both Mum and our family have made. I can now become once again enjoy being a daughter, not a carer and that is lovely.

I will never forget the day when Mum first arrived into Adina Care and a staff member said to me: We are a team, because you know your mother better than anyone’. That immediately put me at ease, knowing that I would be listened to and my input would be valued.

The care and kindness all the staff show to both Mum and myself is wonderful. All the staff, including the cleaners, laundry, handyman, kitchen and nursing staff are so very kind and professional to my mother.

We could not be happier with the care Mum is receiving at Adina Care and we truly thank you all.
